About Plastination:
Plastination is the most advanced and practical preservation technique to preserve and store anatomical specimens in dry and odourless form. The technique is developed by Dr. Gunther Von Hagens in 1978.
Why Plastination?
Inspite of plastinated specimens or body has many advantages and benefits over formalin fixed conventional wet specimens, a shift in field was less significant due to abundance of resources for limited number of Medical colleges of 387 before the year 2014, which presently count to more than 800, so as Dental colleges.
This sudden boom in number is reflected as scarcity and shortage of cadavers. With 800 Medical Colleges, and more than 330 Dental colleges, the annual demand for cadaver is increased beyond possible limits. Due to the situation, many institutions are forced to use alternative teaching tools like advanced 3D printed anatomy models, virtual dissection tables, synthetic cadaver etc. Admitting the fact that none of these advanced technology can provide in-hand experience of real anatomical specimens and neither make an emotional bond with the specimen which help them learn values and respect to cadaver.
What can we Do?
With no investment for a plastination lab, and no training of internal faculty or technician from the institution, you can convert your dissected or un-dissected wet anatomical specimens; even a full cadaver to plastinated specimens on-site.
We bring together the skill and experience our expert team under the strict guidance and observation of National level Plastination experts in the field of Plastination for plastination service anatomy and plastination more than 10 years. For the process, we use most sophisticated and advanced Plastination equipment & fine raw materials from PLASTODUR.

Sheet Plastination

We take your Anatomical Specimens; even the whole body, and plastinate them, literally making them everlasting.
We will install a temporary plastination lab in the teaching Medical/Dental/Paramedical institution. Our expert team will process the specimen without taking them out of the campus, thereby avoiding any legal or ethical issue.

Our expert team headed by Harikrishnan, who is the national level Plastination trainer and expert have conducted numerous hands-on workshops and training programs all around the country. A basic training will sensitise the faculty to take up small plastination projects in their home institutions, while advanced training program will take the skill to the next level where the faculty can take up more challenging projects with confidence.
